FOR GODS SAKE PROTECT OUR PEOPLE
This collection draws inspiration from Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s ill-fated 1910–1913 South Pole expedition, where the relentless pursuit of discovery collided with the harshest conditions on Earth. The journey ended in tragedy, as Scott and his crew perished on the return march, claimed by the unforgiving polar weather. In this context, clothing transcended its role as mere survival gear, becoming a profound storyteller of endurance, fellowship, and loss. In the face of isolation, unbreakable bonds emerged among the crew, infusing garments with layers of meaning and memory. Through silhouettes rooted in functional outerwear and materials such as waxed canvas, boiled wool, and natural dyes, this collection reimagines clothing as vessels of resilience and narrative in unforgiving environments.

FINAL LOOK
The final garment is a boiled wool raglan herdsmen coat, cut for mobility and layered protection, with two large front-facing pockets and an oversized three-panel hood trimmed with faux fur at the hood and cuffs for added warmth. Curved lapels are faced in 100% linen printed with a map of the expedition, while a skyline blue lining evokes the icy hues of the terrain. The accompanying sailor trousers are constructed from indigo-dipped wool, with the map integrated into the facing of the closure and back pockets. Functional straps with D-rings are placed beneath the knees, allowing the wearer to cinch and secure the trousers, preventing water from entering and enhancing their utility in harsh environments.
